WASHINGTON (HedgeWorld.com) - Ullico Inc., a union-owned company providing financial services, multi-line insurance and administrative products to labor unions, hired two executives to help lead its market development department as it ramps up efforts to market its fund of hedge funds in 2007.

The market development unit was established in October 2006, and operations are headed up by James J. Kennedy, senior vice president. The division is charged with building Ullico's three areas of business, and to that end the company hired Jeremiah J. O'Connor and Edward M. Smith, both as executive vice presidents of market development.
