Summary


MOST farmers, builders and outdoor labourers will develop some type of skin cancer by the time they reach middle age, says a Taranaki GP.

"I treat dozens of ex-farmers, skin cancers (and lesions) on their face and forearms, their backs, and builders, getting into their 40s, 50s and 60s," said GP Brent Anderson, who runs Skincare Taranaki.
