NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com) - The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association filed a lawsuit against Amaranth Advisors LLC, the hedge fund's chief investment officer Nicholas Maounis, Chief Operating Officer Charles Winkler and Chief Risk Officer Robert Jones, as well as former trader Brian Hunter, whose bets on natural gas caused the fund's collapse in September.
The complaint, brought under the Securities Exchange Act, names the officers personally, as well as the fund.
