Deciduous Trees Need Winter Rest

Summary


PLANTS that lose their leaves in winter are called deciduous (in case you didn't know). These include roses, pip and stone fruit along with grapes, similar fruiting vines and brambles.

Deciduous trees and shrubs tend to hold on to their leaves if the winter is mild. Without this much needed rest they may give a lesser display or crop during the coming summer.
