Summary
PARIS (HedgeWorld.com) - Institutional securities services provider CACEIS Investor Services on Monday [July 30] agreed to acquire independent fund administrator Olympia Capital International for an undisclosed price. An Olympia Capital press statement said the transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2007, pending standard regulatory approval and closing conditions.
CACEIS, with $1.3 trillion in assets under administration, offers securities services to institutional and corporate clients throughout Europe. The acquisition will enable the banking group to extend its services to North America and further grow its European business. The move comes on the heels of CACEIS' recent acquisition of Swiss fund administrator FidFund and its announcement of a planned acquisition of the custodian and securities processing activities of private German bank HypoVereinsbank.See the full content of this document
