Summary
TELEVISION can do many things. In the course of an evening in front of the box, it can make us laugh, reduce us to tears or make us cringe to the point where we have to leave the room.
On Thursday night the powerful new medical drama Bodies (TV One at 9.35pm) managed all three within the space of an hour. There was plenty of blood and guts, realistically done, complete with close- up shots (as only the English can do) while still maintaining some sense of order.
